STORYTELLING
I understand writing to be a tool of healing and resistance. Through this lens I write on topics that sit on the intersections of Racial, Gendered and Land Justice. I have written for independent and mainstream publications, and a directory of my previous work can be found below. My personal writing practice currently explores 'Speculative Ecologies', I am interested in deepening and developing this through commissions and collaborations.
NATURE WRITING WALKSHOPS
I curate experiential and experimental nature writing walkshops that incorporate Black Feminist pedagogy and embodied nature connection. Through a playful, interactive and relaxed approach, I invite participants to explore the possibilities nature writing offers to take us out of our individual minds and into our collective bodies. My preference is to host these spaces outside, but they can also be adapted to an indoors setting.
WIDER SPACES
I enjoy being part of in conversation withs, panel events, residencies, exhibitions and research cohorts.  I am interested in speaking and creating on a range of topics that sit on the intersections of Racial, Gendered, Land Justice. These include but are not limited to: embodied nature connection, Black Feminist pedagogy, gendered violence, queer ecology, abolitionist imagination, future building and decolonial politics.
