I'm a Domestic Abuse Specialist, racial justice activist and freelance journalist. With over 8 years experience supporting survivors with intersecting experiences of gendered and racialised trauma, I now work predominantly with services committed to ensuring their practice is anti-racist and LGBT+ inclusive.
A survivor myself, I am interested in writing for healing and resistance. Through journalism, I embed personal and professional expertise, conscious to platform the survivors' voices too often marginalised from mainstream media.
I'm also the founder of Peaks of Colour, a Peak District-based walking club by and for people of colour. Founded on the principles of radical self-care, Black, Intersectional and Decolonial Feminism, and nature therapy we explore both the outdoors, and by and for routes to healing and recovery.  Follow us on Instagram and join our Facebook group to find out the details of our next adventure!
